You could even call Pokemon sci-fi if you squint a little. Heck, technically Dragon Ball (and all the follow ups) are sci-fi. There's certainly literally thousands of sci-fi manga out there. (Watchmen is deliberately simple in that regard: always left to right top to bottom, but that isn't always the case in other works.) Also both applications allow you to see either the whole page or let it guide you panel by panel, which is great especially if you are new to the format and not used to figuring out the order to read panels in. I prefer reading comics digitally because I can zoom in. If your library has the Hoopla application, that is a good way to read comics for free. For Parable of the Sower, it is a slow, dense book even in graphic format. For Handmaid's Tale, the graphic format was a quick read of just a few hours and that was enough for me. I'm reading Parable of the Sower in graphic format, and I did the same for The Handmaid's Tale: The Graphic Novel. Here's a complete list of the Hugo Winners and Nominees: Actually while this thread is gathering steam I'll try looking up the remaining volumes of that. My only experience with anything related and worth mentioning here would be Watchmen (probably the vol.1 only). Please recommend anything, ranging from superhero lore to hard scifi and weird tentacle alien stuff. Ever since we got into the topic of graphic novels I began wondering if there is anything scifi-y out there that is worth checking out.
